Anyone have any pumpkin carving tips? Besides have someone else do it I mean ;P

In other news I bought these from Target. They're supposed to be slippers but since they're moccasins they could pass as regular shoes. I'm wearing them out and about anyway! The faux fur lining makes them super soft and comfortable. They have all sorts of different colors.

Those Pumpkin Masters carving kits are great. They have great patterns and tools.

Sorry no tips on carving. What I usually do is paint a face on my pumpkins. It's easier for me and I don't use the pumpkin for eating. I know my mom will have pumpkins that she will make goodies with. Very cute shoes :)

Paint! Seriously, I hate pumpkin carving so much; my wrists are little weakling wrists and it's really hard for me to carve anything that doesn't look like a 5-year-old did it.

I may have to do that this year. Last year I didn't do anything which was pretty depressing. I HATE using knives even for cutting food for the same reason
